We give kids (and grown-ups!) a way to give back anytime, anywhere.
90% of people say they want to volunteer, but only about a quarter of us get around to doing so. Similarly, more than 90% of parents say one of their top priorities is that their children be caring - over being “successful” or smart or athletic or anything else.
We all want to raise kind humans. But with all the chaos and noise of daily life, sometimes it's tough to know if our kids are picking up on the most important stuff: compassion, generosity, empathy, humility.
Volunteering together is an awesome way to teach these values and put them into action, but finding actual opportunities to do so is hard, scheduling them is harder, and if you want to bring kids along too, it's nearly impossible.
That’s where we come in! Alltruists offers families new, fun, and meaningful ways to develop empathy and make real impact in the world, through kid-friendly, at-home volunteer and giving projects. We bring eco-friendly boxes of thoughtfully-designed volunteering projects to your living room, helping kids explore topics ranging from social to environmental, such as why we need bees and why some people experience homelessness.

Alltruists offers both a subscription service for new projects monthly, and a storefront featuring all past monthly kits, as well as a range of topics parents can select from. Each box has a different theme–from hunger to clean water to climate action and more–and guides kids through content, activities, a donation experience, and a proprietary volunteer project, which is where the real magic happens.

Sometimes kids will be asked to make, build, or decorate something and mail it to the partner nonprofit. Sometimes kids will collect something around their home and mail it in or drop it off. Sometimes there will be at-home projects or pledges made, along with virtual contributions.
For instance, in our box We All Need Shelter box, kids make a keychain that our nonprofit partner New Story in Mexico gives to families with their very first house key on it. In other box experiences, kids plant trees, give away gently used books, and more.

We’re on a mission to raise kind humans through our volunteer projects in partnership with incredible nonprofits, and we hope that you’ll join us in building kindness, empathy, and compassion for future generations.
